Is there anything more electric than the start of summer? A time to crack open closed windows; take long, meandering walks; and plan the season's travel, it feels busting with promise and possibility. If you live in an area with severe winters, this point of the year is also an opportunity to reconnect with nature after months spent indoors. Read more HERE
“I’ve been loving Alexandra Roxo’s raw, real & personal stories on instagram and am so excited to have her on the podcast to share with you today! I was curious to hear about Alexandra’s journey finding the spiritual path, what tantra means to her, how she supports women through her work, what fears she’s been facing and especially her advice on being the most REAL and authentic version of YOU, despite the fear of what others may think of it.” Check out my episode on Rising Women Leaders podcast HERE
Several weeks ago, I was given a small glass bottle filled with water, a vegetable glycerin preservative, and the subtle energetic imprint of seven flowers selected by my subconscious. I was told to put four drops of this mixture in my drinks at least four times a day. After a month or so, this ritual would hopefully bring about an emotional shift culminating in my ability to “Radiate ME,” as the cheerful handwritten label on my bottle read. By the time I received this bottle, I was in fact already beginning to Radiate ME and fully understood what that meant and found none of this stupid. Wellness reporting is a slippery genre. It’s a strange time in my life. I’ve become like one of those memes, half of my friends are taking one-off trips to the Amazon to try Ayahuasca, and the other half are ringing church bells and getting married. I’m not quite sure what this says about my choice in friends, but it has made me realize something about myself: I’m willingly naive to extremes. While I'm fascinated by them, I haven’t had the urge to try psychedelics, and I can’t remember the last time I thought about stepping foot into a holy house. Read More HERE

Alexandra Roxo is the leader of Moon Club, a mentor, a storyteller, a healer, and a speaker. In this episode, she talks about returning to feminine energy, collectively shifting from me to we, how to love bigger than fear, how to be constantly expanding and opening, seeing your whole life as your journey, how to carve the well for your joy, bringing magic and ritual into your day every day, the power of living with the moon, and more. Listen to get inspired to expand, do deep work on yourself, and heal yourself to heal the world.
There are so many ways we can more deeply connect with our spiritual selves – and rituals are one of those. You may just think that a ritual is something witchy and involves really complex mantras or crystal grids or various other spiritual accoutrements – but truly, rituals don’t have to involve any of those things at all if we don’t want them to. My beautiful guest on The Priestess Podcast today – Alexandra Roxo – is passionate about the power of everyday rituals in our life and in particular how they can help us with our own healing. Rituals can be small or big, short or long and involve lots of beautiful tools or none at all. This episode will inspire you to find sacred meaning in so many things that you may already be doing in your life – and can further create as well. Click HERE to listen
WHAT IS EMBODIMENT? Embodiment is taking your practice into your physical body and not just in the mind or spirit. This is how we reactivate the energy centers in our body with life force, reclaiming our bodies as sacred instruments for pleasure. Purpose. Passion. Think – A feminine compliment to seated meditation. A traditional mindfulness or Vedic meditation practice is based on cultivating awareness or witness. Which is an archetypal masculine energy in eastern traditions. So how do we cultivate life force? Creative energy? Sexual fire? That which tantra calls Shakti. Sign up HERE
In this Wonderland Session, featuring guest star Alexandra Roxo, we talk about how we can look at our friendships as a form of spiritual practice. 1. Commit to a daily practice. For 40 days. This is how long it takes. If you need help choosing what practice fits you, remember this is not one size fits all! Your heart knows what it needs. Perhaps 10-min. journaling, 15-min dance, 15-min meditation. Or breath work. Or work with a yoni egg. Ask your heart what YOUR practice looks like, make a plan and stick to it…

I took an Uber to Culver City to the newish WMN Space, a chic, hushed very white studio where one can go to a Moon Circle or see a doula or have the brow guru Jimena Garcia sculpt one’s eyebrows with a side of something called “energy resurfacing.” I was there to see Alexandra Roxo, a healer (and occasional actress — she was on “The Knick”) who was recommended by a friend of a friend of a friend for her work around love and sex. If I was going to go full-on Los Angeles-style woo-woo, it might as well be about reclaiming my feminine power.

Also last week I was on my friend Karley aka Slutever's TV show on Viceland! You may recognize Karley from my show Be Here Nowish Season 1 and Season 2. But you can amend the practice to feel more alive in EVERY moment.

The Scorpio season was deep and thick with astro lessons and ideas and coming into Sag season has been a relief to many. On a recent visit to Los Angeles, a friend invited me to accompany her to an event called "Sex, Love, and Other Things." It was going to be held at a wellness store on Abbott Kinney, which, for those of you who don't speak LA, is a strip of hip-ass shops in the midst of Venice, a once-bohemian beach community. To reiterate: My friend invited me to an event all about sex at a store specializing in essential oils.

In my early 20s, I got into Eastern meditation. I read Autobiography of a Yogi and Be Here Now. I meditated with monks in caves in Italy, sitting on rock floors with no cushions under my bum and meditated for hours in the cold. I slept on the floor and renounced sex. And alcohol. I went for it. I was curious. Was this my path to total growth and happiness and inner peace? The answer is a resounding NO. I've spent the last 10 years studying the meticulous balance between a spiritual practice of ecstasy and embodiment and a spiritual practice of mindfulness and spirit. Read More HERE

Dear Roxo: I recently got out of a long term relationship with a partner who wasn't sexually adventurous at all. There weren't any hard feelings, but now that I'm single, I am SO READY to get out there. I love sex and am so excited to try so many things, like BDSM, and maybe a threesome. Anyway, while I'm really looking forward to no-commitment sex, I also really want to make sure it's respectful. How would you suggest going about it? Read More HERE

If you’re into astrology at all, you may have noticed that we are in a month with not one but two Leo new moons and two eclipses. (Not to mention that Mercury's going retrograde!) I'm lying on the floor, rocking side to side with my knees clenched tightly to my chest, face red-hot to the touch and damp with tears. I'm not alone. The room is alive with 20 other women doing the exact same thing. Somewhere between "Oh my God, I can't do this" and "Why do I feel so hot—is anyone else this hot!?" a thought arises that actually brings a smile to my surely contorted face: "On a scale of 1 to 10, how different is this from my usual Saturday at 3 p.m. routine?"
As crazy as it may sound, the spirit world, or the invisible world—whatever you want to call it—can help you tremendously in your sex and love life. This has definitely been true for me. In addition to finding me parking spots and saving me from accidents, I credit love gods and goddesses, ascended masters, angels, and plant and animal spirits with keeping my life sexy, romantic and magical!

As a woman on a quest to explore all things spiritual and sexual, I was intrigued as soon as I heard about Chakrubs, sex toys made out of crystals. The thing holding me back? This nagging thought: I just don't know about putting a crystal ... there! Which is ridiculous, since most sex toys are made of all sorts of man made materials. The more I thought about it, the more it made sense: Why not use crystals down there?

Maybe it’s an old job. A relationship. A habit. A pattern. You can always find something that’s begging for change.
There are moments during the process of transformation when we feel high on life, like a superhero. "Yes, I did it! I left that unhealthy relationship!" But every up has a down. And things can quickly become ugly, uncomfortable, and awkward as we grieve and let go.

On a recent evening at the Cannabis Feminist Circle in Marina del Rey, a group of about 15 women, mostly in their late 20s and early 30s, get stoned. Several are impossibly beautiful without makeup, four of us have recently moved to LA from New York City, and quite a few appear to be Jewish. It’s my second circle, and this time I don’t light up, determined to remember the meeting’s details and to take notes. My memory has been failing me for a while now, though appropriately, I can’t remember if it was ever that good to begin with. Read More Here
Do you ever wonder how some women can walk into a room and turn everyone’s heads? Sure, some are drop dead gorgeous by pretty much every standard. But more often than not, they just have an unspoken mystique that exudes from within. I remember when I was 14, a suave senior boy said to me, “Roxo, you have a special mystique. And you know it, don’t you?”

Between an emotionally draining election cycle and a seemingly endless stream of violence and negativity on the news, many of us are counting down the days until we can say peace out to 2016 (and prepare our sage bundles for January 1).
But rather than end this gnarly year with bad vibes on the brain, what if we all focused on appreciating the good things that the past 12 months have brought forth?

I'm happy to be featured as one of the OUT 100 (I'm like #6 of 100!) this year right after Pedro Almodovar!
After a long busy week of giving and doing, you want to be fed. So you go to Church. To the temple of Nature and Connection. Where Plants stand at the pulpit. You say yes to taking communion. You ask Spirit to teach you and heal you as much as possible while there. So Spirit is generous. It delivers as much as you ask for.
Lately I've been trying to make my pussy happy. I realized I hadn't asked her in a long time if she was happy. So I started paying attention. I'm challenging myself and I’m challenging you to do it too!
We live in an age where the average person spends the equivalent of one day each week on their phone. And we all know that endless scrolling through your Insta feed is the opposite of mindfulness. While our neo-Luddite nightmares of extreme “phubbing” (snubbing someone in favour of your phone) are ubiquitous, we’re still struggling to strike a happy medium between rinsing the internet’s benefits without avoiding its black hole.
